Before Mahmya opens, this site does one thing: it lets you leave an email address so we can tell you when the doors open. This page explains what we keep, why, where it lives, and how to be removed. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
What we collect
When you join the launch wishlist we save:
- your email address, trimmed and lower-cased;
- the date and time you joined;
- the version of the consent text you agreed to, so we know exactly what you were told;
- the page you signed up from.
That is the whole record. We do not ask for your name, and we do not enrich the list from other sources. If you visit without joining, we keep nothing about you at all.
Why we keep it
To send you news about Mahmya’s launch: when the collection opens, and any early word that comes before it. Nothing else. We do not sell your email, share it for other brands’ marketing, or use it to build a profile of you.
Where it lives
Your record is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, and this site and its wishlist service run on Google Firebase Hosting and Google Cloud Run. Google processes that data on our behalf and under its own security commitments. When it is time to send launch emails, we will import the list into an email-sending provider, which will also act only on our instructions.
To keep the form from being abused, our servers briefly log the network address a signup came from and cap how many attempts one address can make. Those logs are kept for a short time by the hosting platform and are not joined to your email record.
How long we keep it
Until you ask to leave, or until the launch wishlist has done its job and we retire it. Whichever comes first. When we retire the list, the addresses on it are deleted; they do not roll quietly into some other list.
Leaving, or asking what we hold
Email contact@bymahmya.com from the address you joined with and say “remove me”. We delete the record and confirm by reply. You can also ask us to tell you what we hold about you, or to correct it. Every launch email we send will carry the same way out.
Cookies
This page sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. If you mute the ambient sound, your browser remembers that choice locally so it stays quiet next time. That setting never leaves your device.
